Programme Activities

Each Endowed Professorship is built on the premise of trust and respect between the donor and the University. Each town-gown partnership is unique and offers limitless contribution to the academe and the community.

To forge a greater sense of community between the University and donors of the Scheme, a series of activities have been organized to keep donors involved and to keep them abreast of the latest development of the Scheme.

In addition to Inauguration Ceremonies, donors have been invited to partake in the Endowed Professorships Gala Dinner 2009 in celebration of the Scheme. Endowed Professorships Commemorative Chairs have been designed and given to donors as a token of appreciation from the University. Last but not least, the first official Endowed Professorships Report "Excellence Counts" was published and presented to donors in 2009.
