Dear Professors and ladies from the Development & Alumni Affairs Office On behalf of the New Zealand delegation, may I say how very special Professor Jao’s exhibition in Hobart has been for us, and how very grateful we are for being able to witness first-hand the unique HKU brand of cross-border cultural ambassadorship, which is cultural exchange and bridge-building of the highest order. We would be delighted to table to our Exco in Auckland any further initiatives from our alma mater to promote Professor Jao’s work on the global stage, and hope to be of assistance, even though we are a young and small chapter of the global HKU alumni family. Once again, many thanks for letting us take part in this memorable event. We are deeply honoured and feel very privileged indeed.
