Reunions 45 35 th Anniversary September 9, 2009 30 th Anniversary October 2, 2009 Engineering Class of 1974 Mechanical Engineering Class of 1979 If there is something special about this class, it is the strong bond between classmates. Thirty years have passed since our graduation and we are still holding annual gatherings. This year we held our 30 th anniversary reunion, which was attended by 40 classmates representing 60% of the total number of graduates. Some of them returned from overseas and some brought along their family members. We were honoured to have Professor Tan, the Head of the Department; Professor Ko, Professor Kot and Mr Sze, our lecturers, join us. Old photos were shown during the dinner and filled everyone with nostalgia. Classmates also shared their 1974港大工程系畢業生 ~ 09.09.09飯敍 今天晚上參加了1974年工程系畢業生畢業35週年紀念晚宴，與 同屆畢業同學敍舊，回復舊日自由奔放情懷，大家不期然都變 得年輕了。35年有如轉瞬，歲月的留痕，好像都被今晚洗掉。 這晚感覺到，一切都似舊還新，似新仍舊。除了年紀，很高興 各位舊同學的樣貌似乎改變不大。究竟歲月令人進步，還是使 人徘徊？ 我今天晚上祝賀各位同學要擁抱一個中心點（平安健康）， 擁有三個要點（朋友Friend，家庭Family，樂趣Fun）。 當年的「學歷」，工作35年的「履歷」，演變成現時每年驗身的 「病歷」表。當天的「萬般皆下品」變成今天的「器官皆下墜」。 「唯有讀書高」變成今日的「唯有血壓高」。哈哈哈！請大家不 要介意我說說笑吧！ 「55-60」而知天命，大家都會有所感受。明年9月9日9時09分祝 酒互勉！祝各同學身心健康！大家友誼長長久久！ Martin Cheung Kin-keung 張建强 (BSc(Eng) 1974; MPA 1991) recent photos depicting their footprints, talents, family and working lives, and recent hobbies. The class also raised a humble donation to support the Centennial Campus project. The most generous donor received a painting created by another classmate.
