Partnering with different organisations around the world, Beyond the Wall’s pilot project will be at Shree Nabin Lower Secondary School, located at the south-eastern side of the city of Bhaktapur. We are not offering the students a gorgeous campus but a campus with basic facilities. We are not providing them money to improve their living standards but a better study environment and bringing them joy. We want to bring their smiles back. We also want to engage the Hong Kong community to build social capital and promote knowledge and cultural exchange between Architecture Faculty members and the Nepalese community. We are looking for community support to make Beyond the Wall sustainable. If you would like to support Beyond the Wall, please donate to the Architectural Society, HKUSU either by bank transfer or cheque. For details, please visit www.beyondthewall.asia or send an email to info@beyondthewall.asia . * A conventional Hindu expression on meeting or parting, used by the speaker while holding the palms together vertically in front of the bosom.
