Terence Chan 陳鎮榮 (BSocSc 1972) Terence was conferred an Honorary Fellowship by The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in 2014 after serving as its Bursar (Chief Financial Officer) for 17 years. He expressed his gratitude to HKU for the invaluable education and training he received, which enabled him to pursue further professional training as a Chartered Accountant in England. Jason Kwok 郭詠觀 (MBBS 1976) Dr Kwok migrated to Canada in 1995 and succeeded in earning his licence to practise Family Medicine. He was selected as the cover figure in the 2014 April issue of the official journal of Canadian College of Family Physicians. His contributions to different community services has won him various awards including the Scarborough-Agincourt Silver Jubilee Medal, which was presented by Parliament of Canada in 2013. Hayley Chan 陳晞文 (BA Year 1) Hayley, winner of gold medal for Hong Kong in women’s RS:X windsurfing at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea. Edward Sin 冼永生 (BSc 1971) Edward was one of the winners of the Hong Kong Humanity Award 2014 co-organised by the Hong Kong Red Cross and Radio Television Hong Kong. After his retirement from government in 2007, he co-founded Grace Tutors 學濟社 and Knowledge Tutor 學修社 to provides free mathematics tutorials to underprivileged students and those with learning difficulties. Suffering from low vision himself, Edward relates more to the problems faced by visually impaired students and therefore, he learnt Braille and sign language, and employs different teaching methods.
