At Lee Chi Hung Hall , there are three treasures: The Pillar of the Hall (Hall 柱 ), the Pool Table, and the loveable Ling Jie 玲姐 (黃惠玲) . Ling Jie 玲姐 has served Lee Chi Hung Hall as a janitor since it opened in 1995 until her retirement in mid 2014. Over the years, Ling Jie has shared the happiness and tears of hallmates, and has witnessed their life achievements. Her smile and words were always comforting, as if they were soothing medication for those in distress. Ling Jie will be one of the fond memories of the Lee Chi Hung Hall family, now and forever. 我們這班「頑童」…… 中午用膳後的亂放飯盒、 不斷被杯麵堵塞的廚房鋅盤、 如戰場般灑遍全 Hall 的文具、 個人物品周而復始地遺失和被尋回……但是 她仍然耐心地對我們作出無限次的勸戒和包容 電腦枱旁的抽屜 的那條「蜈蚣」、 桌球枱上的跟我們認真的「跟隊」和「較量」、 跟我們平日閒談間漫不經心式的「抽水」…… 她為我們在 Hall 的每一天帶來更多的歡笑和難忘回憶。 坐到電腦枱旁，跟她一邊「煲劇」，一邊談天說地 閒話家常、 Hall 、學業、事業、朋友、愛情、無所不談； 又在我們迷茫或失意時， 她絕對是在我們混亂的腦海 出現的傾訴對象。 轉眼間，還趕不及醒來，幾年間如夢般的舍堂生活要完了。 相信每一位 Hallmate ，畢業時都會捨不得與她一起在舍堂的日子； 而她，則眼看著一屆又一屆畢業 Hallmates 的告別，經歷著一年又一年的不捨。 到了今年，她自己也「畢業」了，榮休了。 我回想起一位 Hallmate 跟我講過的一句說話― ”I can’t imagine LCHH without Ling Jie” 我想，其實她從來沒有離開 LCHH 。 因為在我們這個大家庭，她永遠是我們這班仔仔女女最疼錫的玲姐。 Richard Ng 伍志康 (BEng 2014) President of Lee Chi Hung Hall Alumni Association Can’t imagine LCHH without Ling Jie 玲姐 52 Alumni Networks
