We explored the unusual structure of the stilt houses, the new manually operated drawbridge, the local specialty market, and the shops decorated with traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy that have the feeling of the ages. Perhaps decades later, the shops will still be there while the mentees have gone on to become mentors.
