Home to 40 start-ups by alumni & students HKU iDendron, opened in autumn 2017, is incubating dozens of early-stage start-ups by HKU alumni. Students and graduates with new business ideas are given access to affordable co-working spaces, a community of innovators and entrepreneurs, and a resource network for growth. Partners include Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, Cyberport, Hong Kong X-Tech Startup Platform etc. “Dendron” means “tree” in Greek, symbolising the spirit of growing knowledge and innovation. As a first entrepreneurial venture, iDendron has provided us a community to work with and get inspired rather than being left on this journey all by ourselves.
