The founding executive board was appointed in April 2019. This new alumni association will provide a platform for sharing ideas and experiences, and building a better community through arts education and outreach programmes. The HKUFAAA will also offer gifting opportunities and collaborate with like-minded organisations. The HKUFAAA’s first public event, a book signing by Professor David Clarke 祈大衛 , was held on March 15, 2019. His latest publication is China—Art—Modernity : A Critical Introduction to Chinese Visual Expression from the Beginning of the Twentieth Century to the Present Day. The association is already active with the HKUFAAA Art Book Club, as well as visits to museum and galleries.
