Over 500 Engineering students have been benefitted by the Graduate Mentor Scheme (GMS) since its inception in 2001. The Scheme is organised by the Engineering Alumni Association and the HKU Engineering Society, HKUSU. Alumni of Engineering and other disciplines are invited to be the mentors. The Inauguration Ceremony of GMS 2012 was held on April 14, 2012. www.hku.hk/facmed/alumni www.alumni.hku.hk/hkueaa/ The University of Hong Kong Medical Alumni Association DinnerTalk Professor Joseph Sung 沈祖堯 (MBBS 1983), Vice- Chancellor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, gave a talk entitled “Teaching on Values in Medical Education” immediately after the Association’s 11th Annual General Meeting. Professor Sung recounted how he witnessed his teachers at the Medical Faculty providing a great living example where “patient care was a dedication, research was a passion and teaching was an enjoyment”.
