In this episode, Tracy Ho, a personal branding consultant and director of Frame & Fame Personal Branding, discussed how to build your personal brand efficiently and effectively with our HKU young graduates and students. Personal branding is the essence in self-differentiation from other candidates during the job search as almost 70% of employers nowadays lookout for an online presence of potential employees when hiring. Tracy underlined clear and comprehensive tips on building a personal brand on different platforms ranging from the key elements to keep in mind when building a personal brand to components that work together in defining your brand. She also presented practical advice on enhancing your LinkedIn profile by adding a profile picture with personality or an impactful yet clear-cut LinkedIn headliners.<\/p>\n

To sum up, Tracy emphasised to \u201cbe known, be seen and be heard\u201d when building a personal profile.<\/p>\n

1. Be Known<\/strong> by setting a clear perception and image of your brand for yourself and the audience.
\n2. Be Seen<\/strong> by taking care of your brand materials and visuals, starting off with your own profile pictures across the platform, which incorporate your personality and individual story.
\n3. Be Heard<\/strong> by communicating your brand story clearly and precisely through integrating personality, emotion, logic and passion.<\/p>\n
