\u516b\u5e74\u524d\u4e00\u8d9f\u8207\u5927\u5b78\u5ba4\u53cb\u7684\u8de8\u570b\u55ae\u8eca\u65c5\u884c\uff0c\u71c3\u9ede\u4e86 Jan \u5c0d\u70f9\u98ea\u7684\u4e00\u5718\u706b\uff0c\u4ed6\u5bdf\u89ba\u5230\u98df\u7269\u662f\u4f55\u7b49\u91cd\u8981\uff0c\u5f9e\u800c\u60f3\u8981\u6210\u70ba\u5eda\u5e2b\uff0c\u958b\u5275\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u4e00\u7247\u5929\u3002\u7e31\u7136\u5c65\u6b77\u8868\u4e00\u7247\u7a7a\u767d\uff0c\u5e78\u6709\u7cbe\u7dfb\u9910\u98f2\u9910\u5ef3\u50f1\u7528\uff0c\u4ed6\u5f9e\u96f6\u958b\u59cb\uff0c\u8e0f\u4e0a\u5eda\u5e2b\u4e4b\u8def\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u8aaa\u5230\u5de5\u4f5c\u7684\u96e3\u8655\uff0cJan \u5766\u8a00\u7576\u5eda\u5e2b\u5f88\u6d88\u8017\u9ad4\u529b\uff0c\u7cbe\u795e\u58d3\u529b\u4e5f\u5f88\u5927\u3002 \u4f46\u5f9e\u4e2d\u5b78\u6703\u4e0d\u5c11\u5f71\u97ff\u4ed6\u4eba\u751f\u7684\u9053\u7406\uff0c\u4f8b\u5982\u4ed6\u8b8a\u5f97\u66f4\u6709\u7d00\u5f8b\uff0c\u9ad4\u6703\u5230\u6642\u9593\u662f\u591a\u9ebc\u53ef\u8cb4\u3002 \u4ed6\u4ea6\u611f\u8b1d\u5927\u5b78\u7d66\u4e88\u4ed6\u7684\u8a13\u7df4\uff0c\u8b93\u4ed6\u53ef\u4ee5\u63d0\u5347\u81ea\u5df1\uff0c\u5b78\u6703\u8207\u4eba\u76f8\u8655\uff0c\u54ac\u7dca\u7259\u95dc\u300c\u6371\u300d\u4e0b\u53bb\uff0c\u6700\u5f8c\u86fb\u8b8a\u6210\u7c73\u829d\u84ee\u9910\u5ef3\u7684\u52a9\u7406\u7e3d\u5eda\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n


From an Engineering student to a Michelin Chef<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eight years ago, on a cross-country cycling trip with his hallmate, Jan’s passion for cooking was ignited. He realized how important food was and wanted to start his own career as a chef. Despite a blank resume, he was able to secured jobs at fine dining restaurants, starting from scratch, setting off on the chef’s pathway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the kitchen, Jan, who didn\u2019t even know how to hold a knife, started as an apprentice, handling trivial duties such as washing vegetables and cleaning. Gradually, he got into cutting vegetables, decorating, and handling meat and rare and expensive ingredients. Thanks to the guidance of the chefs and his hard-earn experiences, Jan has eventually progressed to manage the kitchen and design the menu. In order to pursue more culinary knowledge, he quitted his job and travelled to Europe to learn Western food culture and to improve his cooking skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking about difficulties, Jan admits that being a chef is physically demanding and mentally stressful. However, he learned many life-changing lessons in the kitchen, such as the importance of time and self-discipline. He also thanked the university for the training he received, which enabled him to improve himself, learn to get along with people, and finally strive to become the Sous Chef of a Michelin-starred Restaurant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
