SmilesForAll - Free dental care to Hong Kong’s underprivileged children

Early childhood caries is the most prevalent oral health issue among preschool children in Hong Kong. According to the territory-wide oral health survey conducted by the Department of Health, half of the 5-year-old children in Hong Kong suffer from tooth decay, with over 90% of their decayed teeth left untreated.

With the generous support of the Wu Chung Family Charitable Foundation, HKU Dentistry launches the “Early Childhood Caries Treatment Project” to provide free comprehensive dental care to underprivileged children suffering from tooth decay.

Navigating Shifts - Geopolitical and Post-Covid Supply Chain Realignment: Implications for the Mainland and Hong Kong
乘風掌舵 - 地緣政治及疫後供應鏈重整對內地與香港的影響

Global supply chains have faced tremendous stresses from geopolitical friction, disaster disruptions, and increasing stakeholder interests on sustainability. At the same time, technologies have offered innovations for corporations to create opportunities.

Professor Hau Lee (李效良教授), Thoma Professor Emeritus of Operations, Information and Technology at the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University, will outline three strategic challenges that confront corporations in this turbulent time, and share his views on how the Mainland and Hong Kong could be in a position to gain control of such challenges. Professor Lee is an HKU graduate of Social Sciences.
