This exceptional achievement consolidates HKU’s top position among local universities and propels HKU to 10th globally among all institutions, according to Clarivate Analytics. Notably, 40% of Hong Kong’s Highly Cited Researchers are with HKU, highlighting the academic excellence and global impact of our research community. HKU’s notable success also helps Hong Kong maintain its position among the top 10 regions and countries globally for the total number of Highly Cited Researchers.
