The University of Hong Kong has achieved exceptional results in the 2025 Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings by Subject. HKU boasts four subjects in the top 10 globally, with Dentistry and Education ranking 2nd and 3rd respectively, and Linguistics and Geography securing the 9th and 10th positions.

HKU Karson Choi College, founded with a HK$100M donation from entrepreneur Mr Karson Choi, houses 300 students at Jockey Club Student Village IV.
