HKU celebrates the inauguration of the Jockey Club Student Village IV
Advancing Residential Education and Global Community Building

Located in Wong Chuk Hang, the Jockey Club Student Village IV comprises four student residences, providing a total of 1,238 places for undergraduate and postgraduate students from over 60 countries and regions.  It is made possible by a generous donation from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. Together with its earlier support for the Mui Fong Street Student Residence at Sai Ying Pun, the Club’s Charities Trust has contributed a total of HK$185 million to the development of these two student residential projects, directly addressing the growing demand for student housing.

As one of the pilot Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) projects nominated by the Development Bureau of the HKSAR Government, this new student village has received numerous awards, including the "Outstanding MiC Projects" award at the MiC Achievement Ceremony in 2022.
